Limousine: Kentucky Bluegrass
Limousine has long been recognized as one of the strongest bluegrasses in terms of density and wear tolerance. The excellent density of the turf not only adds a lush appearance, it naturally chokes and limits weed encroachment and overall is very disease-resistant. It germinates quickly and has the finest leaf texture with impressive spring and fall ground coverage and is frost tolerant. This turf shows an early green color and improved winter color and is aggressive. Limousine does very well in cool or humid regions, performs well in shade and has good summer heat performance. In addition to this turf's durability to withstand high traffic wear and tear, Limousine is a low growing bluegrass.
