A-34 Kentucky Bluegrass

A-34 has been rated #1 in tests conducted by leading independent universities. A-34 is an excellent hardy Kentucky Bluegrass which is providing safer playing fields coast-to-coast in some of the nations leading stadiums that include San Francisco's Candlestick Park, Denver's Invesco Field, and Milwaukee's County Stadium. A-34 is also used in many famous college and university stadiums. A-34 develops a strong and aggressive rhizome system (the underground reproductive network which spreads out horizontally soon after germination). As new plants develop from this network, the areas rapidly fill into a natural density. This natural density of the turf equals better resistance to stress, disease, heat, drought, wear and submission. It also the equals a long life and safer playing field. The aggressive growth of the A-34 additionally equals faster self-healing. A-34 has excellent heat tolerance and can tolerate cold temperatures zero degrees Fahrenheit or below. A-34 can tolerate up to 65% shade at a 2" mow height. A-34 can tolerate mow heights as low as ½" in direct sun light! Salt tolerance is another characteristic of A-34. This disease and weed resistance of A-34 is superior. A-34 has a very nice medium texture and medium-to-deep green color.
