The fine leaf texture makes Awesome a beautiful mix with cool season turf grasses. Awesome has excellent disease resistance and a very desirable lower growth habit. In the 2001 - 2005 National Trials, Awesome was top rated for dark green color at a 7.3 and 7.0 for wear tolerance on a scale of 1 to 9. Out of six (6) regions at trials, Awesome rated in the top first or second variety 5 times! The excellent ratings Awesome received were at the 2003 NETP trials.
